Oasis Backpackers Hostel Granada Centre
Oasis Backpackers Hostel in Granada Centre is among the hostels in town and where the now “famous” Oasis concept of hospitality began. When we opened our Granada hostel back in 2003 we started with one main belief about what youth hostels should be about: Traveling is fun, meeting people is essential, and really feeling like you got to know a city through its smells, sounds, people, food, alcohol and culture are the only things that matter.

By Car
Getting by car to the hostel entrance is not possible, the closest Parking is 500m from the hostel. Is called ‘San Agustin’ and costs around 25€ for 24h. You can find cheaper parkings around the city centre. Park on the street for free is possible out of center, in white lines. Blue line parking is restricted by time except for Sundays. We recommend you to park in ‘San Agustin’, bring your luggage to the hostel and we will show you on the map different options for your car. To get to ‘San Agustin’ Parking you have only 2 options: driving through San Jeronimo or Elvira streets. A GPS navigation or a real map are a must to drive in the city, take you time before arrival in Granada to get an idea of the way you want to take. Watch out for cameras in restricted access streets, always respect forbidden signs in bright yellow background.
If you booked the apartment, please contact us 1 hour before arrival to arrange a meeting for exchanging the apartment key. Remember the apartment is on a different address. If you have a car the apartment has its own garage, but you will need to give us your car details before arrival to allow your entrance in the Albaicín neighbourhood. Also, be very carefull when folowing GPS navigation, as there has been many troubles with cars being directed to roads with limited access. If you don´t have a car, the easiest and cheapest way from Bus or Train stations until the apartment is a Taxi ride.
Read some reviews about Oasis Backpackers Hostel Granada
I loved the location of this hostel. It is located on a market street which has lots of things to look at and places to eat. It is really close to a square which is central to many things. The staff were so helpful! The receptionist helped me get tickets to a flamenco show and had great suggestions of places to visit. They have different tours they offer that are spectacular. The guide is so funny and knowledgeable about the area!
Susan, USAThe hostel is located in the lovely Arabic market, in a central position even if a little bit difficult to reach if you don’t have a backpack. The reception and bar staff is really friendly and always organize activities for the guests. The rooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The atmosphere in general is wonderful if you’re keen to socialize and explore the city, we would love to come back!
Ana, ItalyGREAT location right in the center of everything – the one drawback is you need to walk up a crowded cobblestone street uphill with long spaced out steps on it to get there. It wasn’t too much of an issue outside of when we were coming in with luggage and weren’t expecting it. Outside of that, awesome experience. BUY ALHAMBRA TICKETS through hostel if you can – we were able to skip a huge line in the morning by doing so! Oasis is a great hostel – definitely recommend it!
