Oasis Backpackers Hostel Granada Centre
Oasis Backpackers Hostel in Granada Centre is among the hostels in town and where the now “famous” Oasis concept of hospitality began. When we opened our Granada hostel back in 2003 we started with one main belief about what youth hostels should be about: Traveling is fun, meeting people is essential, and really feeling like you got to know a city through its smells, sounds, people, food, alcohol and culture are the only things that matter.

Read some reviews about Oasis Backpackers Hostel Granada
I loved the location of this hostel. It is located on a market street which has lots of things to look at and places to eat. It is really close to a square which is central to many things. The staff were so helpful! The receptionist helped me get tickets to a flamenco show and had great suggestions of places to visit. They have different tours they offer that are spectacular. The guide is so funny and knowledgeable about the area!Susan, USA
The hostel is located in the lovely Arabic market, in a central position even if a little bit difficult to reach if you don’t have a backpack. The reception and bar staff is really friendly and always organize activities for the guests. The rooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The atmosphere in general is wonderful if you’re keen to socialize and explore the city, we would love to come back!Ana, Italy
GREAT location right in the center of everything – the one drawback is you need to walk up a crowded cobblestone street uphill with long spaced out steps on it to get there. It wasn’t too much of an issue outside of when we were coming in with luggage and weren’t expecting it. Outside of that, awesome experience. BUY ALHAMBRA TICKETS through hostel if you can – we were able to skip a huge line in the morning by doing so! Oasis is a great hostel – definitely recommend it!Ryan, Canada
Set in the vibrant Arabic quarter, this eclectic hostel is a 3-minute walk from Granada Cathedral and 1.6 km from Alhambra Palace.
Understated mixed dorms with bunk beds sleep 6 to 10 people, while female-only dorms sleep 6. All dorms come with free Wi-Fi, lockers and en suite bathrooms.
There’s a guest kitchen, and breakfast is available for a fee. Other amenities include a laid-back lobby lounge, a patio bar and a rooftop terrace. The hostel also offers guided tours.
Oasis Backpackers is designed for the modern day global traveller who not only wants good tips and refuge from the vigour of the road but who also want to have fun and high pressured showers – someone just like you!
You will find us amidst the ancient cobblestone corridors and candle-lit teashops of Granada’s enchanting Arabic quarter, the Albaicon. During the day, the Albaicin is full of life, with Moroccan markets, street musicians, and sunny plazas. When the sun sets it becomes the centre of Granada’s nightlife bursting with bars, cafes and clubs.
Our location can’t be beat – we’re only minutes from the Alhambra, the Moorish Palace and other great sights. Our travel and information desk can help you to explore and unlock the secrets of Granada. We know all the best tips, whether you’re catching a bus to the birthplace of Federico Garcia Lorca, heading up to the Sacromonte for a night of flamenco, taking day-trips to the lake or the Sierra Nevadas, going skiing or trying to get into the Alhambra on a busy day.
We also keep you connected with free and fast internet, Wi-Fi and phone cards.
When the museums close and the sun sets, unwind with us on our Tapas Tour, enjoy our cheap gourmet dinners, win free beer by entering our pub quiz, grill some meat’n’veg on our Argentinean BBQ, get sauced at our weekly backpackers party or…just take our elevator up and down all night.
We have breakfast, never-ending hot high-pressure showers, comfy beds, clean dorms, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and DVDs, a fully-equipped kitchen, Spanish lessons, roof-top terrace, open-air lounge, laundry service (we even fold your clothes) and a cocktail bar where you can trade stories over a mojito and some tunes.
