There is so much to do in Granada and the sourrounding areas so we thought we should give you a small overview. You can go skiing in the morning and take a swim in the ocean in the afternoon- just 60km apart. Where else is that possible?

Apart from skiing and the beaches, you find hot springs in Santa Fe, quaint mountain villages in the Alpujarras with some good walking trails and proper hiking and free-climbing in Monachil. Take your pick

Bridge

Los Cahorros de Monachil

About 15km out of Granada, you find this amazing trekking and free-climbing area with about 200 different routes. Besides you  find hanging bridges and plenty of fig trees i.e. making this ideal for some picnic.

Ski

Skiing Sierra Nevada

The highest peak of the Iberian Peninsular called Mulhacén 3482m provides great skiing on about 120km of slopes from December to April. Start early though because the sun heats up the snow making the morning hours the best time to ski.

Hotsprings

Hot Springs Santa Fe

Bathe naturally in the hot springs of Santa Fe. Just a short ride from Granada, spend a relaxed evening soaking in the natural baths and revitalise your muscles.

Beach

The Mediterranean

Beaches, beaches, beaches. Some come with sand, some with rocks, some with peeple stones. Just a 45min drive south of Granada you are able to jump into the sea, get  tanned and have some delicous freshly grilled fish afterwards.
